What I did on my Saturday morning:

Communion Bread for tomorrow morning...
and cinnamon rolls from the extra dough.
(The pre-baked versions.)

Easy bread pudding with dried sweet cherries.

(Just me in my new glasses.)

For I want you to know, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea, and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, and all ate the same spiritual food, and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank from the spiritual Rock that followed them, and the Rock was Christ.

Let us break bread together on our knees. And let me eat the leftovers with eager zeal. ;) Well done! Yum.

Girlfriend. That Communion bread was SO GOOD! I didn't get a chance to have the cinnamon rolls, but that bread! My cousin wanted to go up for a second round of Communion for some more of it!

THAT LOOKS SOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOD. I'm glad you're coming to see me today. And I'm glad you have leftovers.

Accept, O Lord, my thanks and praise for all that you have done for me. I thank you for the splendor of the whole creation, for the beauty of this world, for the wonder of life, and for the mystery of love. Above all, I thank you for your Son Jesus Christ; for the truth of His Word and the example of his life; for his steadfast obedience, by which he overcame death; and for his rising to life again, in which we are raised to the life of your kingdom. Amen.
