Hi-lite, Lo-lite, Tea-lite

In honor of Canadian Thanksgiving Day today my former college roommates and I decided to play a little email game of "Hi-lite, Lo-lite, Tea-lite". Two of these are self-explanatory: highlight of the day and low point of the day. The third, tea-lite, is a bit more fun -- it can be whatever you want, completely inconsequential, and perhaps totally nutty. For example, one friend's tea-lite was that she bought polka-dotted rain boots today.

Here's my list:

Hi-lite: Good lunch with a good friend
Lo-lite: Too much homework waiting at the end of the work day
Tea-lite: I enjoyed a fabulous can of Diet Dr. Pepper this afternoon

What's yours?

might have to share some of my own later on this week, eh?

Accept, O Lord, my thanks and praise for all that you have done for me. I thank you for the splendor of the whole creation, for the beauty of this world, for the wonder of life, and for the mystery of love. Above all, I thank you for your Son Jesus Christ; for the truth of His Word and the example of his life; for his steadfast obedience, by which he overcame death; and for his rising to life again, in which we are raised to the life of your kingdom. Amen.
